WHY CRYSTAL:
• Accuracies are in terms of % of Rdg . So it is accurate throughout
the Range.
• Temperature Compensated from 0-50 Degrees. ie no effect of ambient
temperature on accuracy so even on the field you get specified accuracy.
• Intrinsically safe so it can be used in Hazardous areas
• All Specification and Accuracy include all effects of linearity,
hysteresis, repeatability and temperature.
• Temperature Compensation is achieved by calibrating Instruments
in Environmental Chamber, which totally Computerized and Automatic and
without any Human interference. Here 70 of such instruments are kept
in environmental chamber and connected to computer through cable, and
temperature is changed from 0 -50 Degree C, in step of every 5 Degree,
and at every step of 5 Degree reading is taken for whole span. And from
that reading correction factor is taken out and is stored in Microprocessor.
Every Pressure Sensor had a inbuilt PT100 temp sensor which sense the
ambient temperature and applies correction for temperature correction
and pressure corrected accordingly.
• Crystal uses special Piezo- Resistive Silicon Crystal. Silicon
is stronger than steel it is like glass, and have property of returning
back to zero after releasing pressure,so no hysterises and the sensor
Zero drift is Negligible. All electronic components used are of Military
specification.
